Mount Pearl, NL, December 02^nd,2024: Solace Power Inc. (“Solace”), a global leader in high-performance, industry-leading wireless power technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jocelyn H. Perry, FCPA, as a member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Perry is an executive leader with deep expertise in financial management and operational leadership, particularly within highly regulated and capital-intensive industries. She is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Fortis Inc., a North American leader in energy delivery. In this role, Perry oversees strategic investments and ensures financial sustainability during periods of growth. Recognized as a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (FCPA), her career includes 13 years at Newfoundland Power, where she served in a variety of capacities, including Chief Financial Officer and President and Chief Executive Officer.

Following the appointment of Neil Desai as Chair of the Solace Power Board of Directors earlier this year, Perry’s appointment comes at a decisive time for Solace Power. Strong governance will be a strategic priority as Solace continues to scale and sell its patented wireless power technologies across global markets in key industries like automotive, telecommunications, defense, and industrial automation.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Perry brings a wealth of board governance experience. She serves on the boards of Shorefast, UNS Energy, and ITC Holdings, is the Chair of the Board of Advantage St. John’s, and is a past Chair of the Health Care Foundation.
