The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in expanding our business development strategies and generating opportunities, with a specific focus on the telecommunications sector. If you are passionate about innovative technology and excel in building strong, win-win partnerships, we want to hear from you.

Your Day-to-Day at Solace Power:
  • Attend tradeshows and events to network with target accounts.
  • Identify and pursue key accounts, with a specific focus on the telecom industry.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for accounts during proof of concept or field trials.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align product solutions with customer requirements.
  • Use HubSpot CRM to track and manage sales activities.
  • Report to the VP of Sales & Marketing and collaborate with internal teams, including the CEO, marketing, product, and R&D teams.
Must-Have Requirements (like coffee in the morning):
  • 5 years of sales or business development experience.
  • Demonstrable technical aptitude or relevant education such as electrical engineering.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical subjects and communicate them clearly and concisely tailored to the recipient’s view of the world.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, aiming to create win-win partnerships.
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and best practices in sales and business development.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally is required.
