The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Quality Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting the development and improvement of quality management systems (QMS), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in risk management activities to ensure products meet customer satisfaction, regulatory and internal standards.
Your Day-to-Day at Solace Power:
- Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that quality standards are understood and integrated into every aspect of operations.
- Assist in developing company processes and supporting documents based on Solace's standards.
- Ensure that Solace products meet customer expectations and comply with performance standards, including internal and external regulatory obligations to ensure product compliance.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including key metrics and trends.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the QMS and the overall quality of products.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with the QMS, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes aligned with the organization's risk appetite.
- Oversee the creation, revision, and control of quality documentation, ensuring all processes are accurately and regularly documented.
- Promote a quality-focused culture throughout the organization.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Technical Diploma or Undergraduate degree, preferably in Engineering or a quality related field.
- 2 years of experience in quality management.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent creativity and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively collect/present information and collaborate with (technical and non-technical) cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical writing skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience with inspection and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with quality management software
