The Role:

As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will be an essential part of our People and Culture team, assisting with various Human Resource (HR) and organizational development initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting our efforts to create an exceptional employee experience and help drive our company culture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, organizational growth, and making a positive impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Your Day-to-Day at Solace Power:
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with the entire hiring process, from posting jobs and sourcing candidates to scheduling interviews, checking references, and drafting offer letters, while collaborating with hiring managers to understand job needs and attract diverse talent.
  • Onboarding & Employee Engagement: Coordinate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, organize employee events and team-building activities, and ensure all employee records and documents are accurate and up to date.
  • HR Operations Support: Handle daily HR tasks like updating employee records, processing requests, maintaining HR systems, and assisting with benefits enrollment and performance reviews.
  • Culture Initiatives: Help implement programs that support internal communications and initiatives that reflect our company’s values and culture including those that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).
  • Training & Development: Assist in coordinating training sessions, workshops, and career development programs while supporting employee recognition efforts to celebrate achievements and milestones.
  • Employee Relations: Be a resource for employee questions about policies, benefits, and workplace concerns, and work with the People and Culture team to improve the overall employee experience.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): You’ll support the company’s DEI goals by ensuring recruitment efforts are inclusive, reaching diverse talent pools, and assisting with initiatives to promote equity in the workplace.
Must-Have Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR, ideally within the tech industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Familiarity with recruitment platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and social media recruiting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple job openings and candidates simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Passion for delivering a positive candidate experience and promoting the company’s values and culture.

  • Experience in a scaling business, particularly in product development in the tech industry.
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures.
  • Experience in hardware-based technology development businesses.
